01 -What is the session fee?
Unlike other "chain" studios where your session takes 25 minutes or less; your session fee is providing you with a patient, enthusiastic, and detailed photographer excited to invest her time to capture wonderful images customized to you and your family.
Included in this fee:
An initial consultation and custom planning for your session
Time and talent
Retouching and storage of digital images
A downloadable gallery of the images from your session
02 -When can I expect to receive my images?
I try to get all portrait session images out to you with-in 4 weeks. Wedding images may take up to 8 to 10 weeks. I will usually post some of your images to social media within the week following your session or event.
03 - You took so many pictures! Do I get All of them?
You will hear my camera clicking A LOT! I take a lot of images in order to capture that perfect moment. No, you will not receive every image I take. I will choose the best of the best and those images will be fully edited and delivered to you. You will in a gallery a predetermined amount of fully edited images.
04 - Can I purchase additional images?
Yes! Most times I will include additional images in a separate gallery for you to choose from. You can pick which images you would like to add to your final collection. Sometimes this is as little as 5 images or it could be 20! Prices vary for each image depending on how many you would like to add to your final gallery.
05 - Is there a perfect time of day for my session?
Yes! If you are having a session outdoors. Photographer's call it the "magic hour." It's the 1-2 hours before the sun sets. It casts this dreamy glow on everything and illuminates everyone so nicely. It also helps to eliminate harsh shadows that the sun casts down when it's higher in the sky as well. If you are doing a childrens studio session or a newborn session those are indoors and have a more flexible time frame.
06 - Will I travel?
Yes, I will travel! I love to explore new places around Pittsburgh! Anything over 40 miles round trip will be an additional charge of $1 per mile
07 - How do I submit a booking retainer?
I will email you an invoice and you may pay with a credit card or your pay pal account. Final payments must be made with a check on or before the day of our session. Mini sessions are paid in full the day of booking. ** Full payments for weddings may not be made with a credit card.
08 - How do I schedule a session?
Feel free to email or phone me directly. In order to secure your date a retainer of $100 must be paid and a signed agreement received. Session retainers are non-refundable. If you wish to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask that you do so at least 24 hours before hand. You may use your deposit for up to 6 months after the original session date to reschedule. The retainer will be applied to the full payment.
** The retainer for a wedding is $500. This secures your date for the entire day. Final wedding payments must be received 30 days before wedding date. Retainers for weddings are non-refundable.
09 - How does booking a newborn session work?
YesBecause babies birth dates are unpredictable, I will reserve a tentative date for you 6-7 days after your scheduled due date. I will mark your due date in my calendar and expect a call or email from you as soon as baby arrives. Newborn sessions are done within the first 14 days after birth.
